Tuesday, January 18th was the opening day of the 2011 Bermuda Festival for the Performing Arts. To celebrate, guests were invited to a cocktail reception where they were able to view the artwork by Kevin Morris specially created for this year's festival. Governor, Sir Richard Gozney gave the opening remarks and guests were treated to a night of ABBA, performanced by Arrival from Sweden. The Bermuda Festival for the Performing Arts is going on until March 1st. All events are listed in TheBermudian.com's events calendar and tickets can be purchased via www.bdatix.bm.
