The Bermudian

Originally founded by Jack Flanagan, an Irishman, in 1988, the restaurant has earned a reputation for its warm, personable staff, cozy interior and loyal band of repeat customers.

In the Emporium Building on Front Street, located in the heart of Hamilton, you’ll find the food and beverage trifecta of Flanagan’s Irish Pub, Outback Sports Bar and The Snug Café.

Flanagan’s main bar offers a large dining area and spacious balcony with breathtaking views of Hamilton Harbour. An expansive menu has something for the whole family, and the kitchen is happy to cater to special requests and dietary requirements. Relax at the bar and watch Bermuda’s favourite bartenders whip up island favourites and Irish treats – fancy a Pot O’ Gold or an Emerald Isle? Keep an eye out for the restaurant’s owners, who often appear behind the bar to show off their mixology skills.

Next door, Outback Sports Bar boasts 22 widescreen, high definition TVs, where the staff will broadcast any sporting event you desire. Book your own personal booth for a close-up view of the action. This local watering hole plays host to both business meetings and parties with a draft beer selection deserving of awards. The international lineup includes Augustiner, Boddingtons, Harp and Kilkenny; Flanagan’s also proudly offers over 25 bottle brands and a reasonably priced wine list. Outback is absolutely the place to be during football games and rugby matches – bring your appetite, friends and drinking shoes and you’ll fit right in.

Situated on the ground floor of the Emporium Building is The Snug Cafe, a popular breakfast and lunch spot with a delicious array of daily specials. Serving fresh, made-to-order food, The Snug is the perfect place to grab a coffee and rest your feet.

There’s something for everyone at Harbourside Holdings’ group of restaurants, and the chefs work tirelessly to ensure that parties of all sizes enjoy succulent, satisfying cuisine in a memorable and welcoming environment. Locally grown produce, plus a catch-of-the-day special always keep the menu fresh and exciting – in particular, we love the Rockfish and Bermuda lobster (when in season).
