The Bermudian

Located right off the lobby in the Hamilton Princess and Beach Club, Crown & Anchor is great for hotel guests and locals alike. Its relaxed atmosphere is perfect for grabbing a quick bite or a light lunch or dinner with friends. And it’s just far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of Hamilton, but near enough that you can walk back to the city.

Inside, the restaurant boasts contemporary décor, and guests are surrounded by works of modern and pop art by some of the world’s most famous artists. The terrace provides unrivaled views of the harbour and the many spectacular yachts that use the Princess Marina.

The menu, which is the same for lunch and dinner, contains some traditional British favourites like Shepherd’s Pie, Fish & Chips and Masala Curry, alongside Bermuda specialties like fish chowder and a local Wahoo sandwich. And if you’re looking for something lighter, classic salads and other sandwiches are also on offer. As with all the Hamilton Princess restaurants, local produce is used whenever possible. If lunch or dinner isn’t on the agenda, there’s plenty of room at the lively bar, which sports a broad selection of fine cognac, as well as the Princess’ signature rum, traditional Gosling’s rum, and an excellent choice selections of wine and champagne. There’s also a selection of fine cigars.

Of particular note at Crown & Anchor is the afternoon tea, served on Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Presented on exquisite porcelain designed especially for the hotel, it’s simply a wonderful way to spend a leisurely afternoon.
