The Bermudian

The culinary team at the Pink Beach Club offers a casual interpretation of The Loren Hotel’s commitment to seasonal locally sourced cuisine. This breezy, relaxed atmosphere is the perfect setting to enjoy Bermuda’s premier burger and other dishes that delight and surprise.

In the words of Executive Chef Tim Sullivan, who draws on 26 years of culinary experience in both New York City and Boston, “Our love for the changing seasons inspires us to craft menus that transform along with the weather. As a portion of these ingredients is sourced from the New England area, our menus reflect both the seasonality of their local produce as well as our own here on the island.”

With this local, sustainable mindset, Pink Beach creates meaningful, lasting relationships with food producers and also with delighted patrons who praise the delicious inventions on offer.

Consider three dishes favoured by Pink Beach’s guests. Ancient Grains artfully blends quinoa, sorghum, asparagus, peas, sugar snaps, carrots and white balsamic vinaigrette to create a complex taste sensation. “Pink” Peppercorn Beef Carpaccio is served with marinated artichokes, baby arugula and pecorino romano for a lively harmony of textures and flavours. Finally, Pink Beach’s Poke Bowl is a favourite made up of a local catch or Ahi tuna, seasoned rice and zucchini noodles served with a zesty dressing featuring radish, pickled onion and wakame.

Daily specials are also on offer, and each day is different depending on the freshest fish, meats, dairy and produce delivered. You could eat at Pink Beach throughout the week and never have the same meal twice!

It’s hard to top the menu, but the spectacular view might just do it. The azure sea breaks gently on the reef before heading out to the far horizon. The light breeze both refreshes and evokes far-off lands. Add in a magnificent sky, sparkling pink sand and dramatic black rock, and it’s impossible to imagine a more perfect setting for friends, cool refreshments and fabulous food.

As culinary director of the Miami Open and catering to events such as the New York City Wine and Food Festival and the Relais and Chateaux Grand Chefs Dinner – the “haute couture” of fine dining – Chef Tim draws on his extensive knowledge and creative imagination to offer you a food journey never to be forgotten. Visit the Pink Beach Club to experience fresh, seasonal cuisine and Bermuda’s beautiful south shore.
