Award of Excellence: Atelerie
After a highly successful decade in business with numerous awards and accolades to show for it, Atelerie has continued to grow from strength to strength—evident in its latest evolution to a newly opened two storey masterpiece of a store which resembles more SoHo, NYC, than Reid Street, Hamilton. Owned by artist Heather MacDonald, the fashion-forward boutique has always been on the cutting edge of style featuring cult-favourite clothing and jewellery designers like Ulla Johnson, Love Shack Fancy, Rag & Bone and Sofia Zakie, just to highlight a few. Now with more space, the collections have expanded further and the expansive selection of fashion, accessories and gifts available along with their exceptional personalised customer service has beyond impressed our judges this year. They expressed how MacDonald has “continuously grown from strength to strength as the store evolved” and she “deserves so much credit for what she has achieved.” We think the Award of Excellence does just that.
