Stop by Masterworks to enjoy a new gallery exhibition of the work of local artists Rhona Emmerson and Chris Marson. The show will be open from May 18 to June 7 and features newly completed works by both artists. Rhona will be displaying her oil paintings, and in contrast, Chris will be showing his watercolours. The opening night will be on Thursday, May 18. All work will be framed and ready to find happy homes!

Chris and Rhona have been members of the Bermuda Plein Air Group and have painted together for over 10 years. Chris, the founding member of the group, leads the weekly critics after each session, while Rhona organises the locations and support and coordinates the 2017 Bermuda Plein Air Festival. The festival is to be held this year from November 11 to 18 and has been generously supported by Masterworks.

Rhona Emmerson

An accomplished oil painter, Rhona is featuring works with a new technique working for her: Bermuda scenic pieces painted in oils with a platte knife only. Plenty of texture and bold use of colour makes this new show collection very different from her traditional style. This new body of work is developed from a combination of plein air studies and studio work.
