Honey Garlic Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks Aurora pork loin back ribs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Remove the membrane from the ribs and rub them with smoked paprika and black pepper. In a bowl whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, and olive oil. Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and brush generously with the sauce. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours until tender. Remove the foil, brush with more sauce, and broil for 5 minutes until caramelized and sticky. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.


Smoky BBQ Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks Aurora pork loin back ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Remove the membrane from the ribs and pat dry. Mix brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper together and rub the mixture all over the ribs. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and bake for 3 hours until very tender. Remove from the oven and carefully unwrap. Brush generously with barbecue sauce and place under the broiler for 5 to 7 minutes until the sauce becomes thick and slightly charred. Slice between the bones and serve hot.


Asian Five-Spice Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks Aurora pork loin back ribs
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Remove the membrane from the ribs and place them on a lined baking tray. In a bowl combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, five-spice powder, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Coat the ribs thoroughly with the marinade and cover tightly with foil. Bake for 2 1/2 hours until tender. Remove the foil and baste the ribs again with the remaining sauce. Broil for 5 minutes until glossy and lightly charred. Allow the ribs to cool slightly before cutting and serving with rice or vegetables.


Herb and Lemon Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks Aurora pork loin back ribs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon chopped thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Remove the membrane from the ribs and place them in a large dish. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper together and rub all over the ribs. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours until tender. Open the foil and roast uncovered for another 15 minutes until lightly browned on top. Let the ribs rest before slicing and serving.
