If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a fresh Bermuda grapefruit, you’ll want to save it for happy hour. This bright and refreshing cocktail is sure to impress.


  • For the rosemary simple syrup:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • For the cocktail:
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 3 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 ounce rosemary simple syrup 


  1. For the simple syrup:
  2. 1. Combine the sugar, water, and rosemary in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. 2. Heat to a boil, then allow to simmer until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. 3. Remove pan from heat and allow mixture to cool completely.
  5. 4. Remove and discard the rosemary stems before serving.
