Ingredients
- For the rosemary simple syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- For the cocktail:
- 2 ounces gin
- 3 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 ounce rosemary simple syrup
Directions
- For the simple syrup:
- 1. Combine the sugar, water, and rosemary in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Heat to a boil, then allow to simmer until the sugar has dissolved.
- 3. Remove pan from heat and allow mixture to cool completely.
- 4. Remove and discard the rosemary stems before serving.
- For the cocktail:
- 1. Combine cocktail ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
- 2. Shake vigorously for a few seconds until everything is combined.
- 3. Strain into ice filled glasses.
- 4. Garnish with grapefruit wedges and rosemary sprigs.
