Craving something sweet? Combine Bermuda favourites – bananas and honey – to create this classic dessert.
1 1/4 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp flour
1/4 cup Bermuda honey
2 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Dissolve the flour in 1/4 cup of milk.
Heat the remainder of the milk and add the flour.
Cook until slightly thickened.
Add the honey, salt, vanilla, egg and the bananas.
Pour in glasses and chill for a few hours.
Assembly additions: add layers of crushed vanilla wafers, banana slices and whipped cream.
