- 12 ripe local bananas, mashed
- 10 oz water
- 2 tbsps lime juice
- 2 lbs (4 cups) sugar
- Boil water and sugar together. Add bananas and lime.
- Boil about 30 minutes until thickened.
- Add to sterilized jars and seal.
