Today is National Root Beer Float Day! We thought we’d put a Bermudian twist on the classic recipe, by replacing the root beer with ginger beer, and of course, adding a little rum!
1 pint vanilla ice cream
24 ounces ginger beer (2 cans/bottles)
6 ounces dark rum
Scoop 3 smallish scoops of vanilla ice cream int o 4 pint-sized mason jars.
Pour 1.5 ounces of rum over each drink. Squeeze in a touch of lime juice, then top with 6 ounces ginger beer!
