Transition into fall-inspired recipes with this salad, laden with seasonal fruits and nuts for the perfect appetiser.


(Serves 6)
5 cups mixed salad greens
2 ripe pears, sliced
Seeds from 1 pomegranate 
Handful dried cranberries
½ cup chopped walnuts 
½ cup feta or goat cheese, crumbled
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Balsamic Vinaigrette:
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
⅓ cup olive oil
1 tbsp honey
½ shallot, diced finely 
1 tsp dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste 


Add salad greens to a large bowl or platter, slice pears thinly and arrange over greens. Top with walnuts, cranberries, pomegranate seeds, crumbled cheese, salt and pepper. For the dressing, blend in a blender for 20-30 seconds and drizzle over salad. Simple and delicious!
