- Ingredients:
- 4 Bermuda onions, sliced in half
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Himalayan salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- fresh rosemary, chopped
- fresh thyme leaves
- Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and prepare a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Cut the onions in half then remove outer dried layers
- Lay them cut side up on the baking sheet
- Drizzle onions with olive oil and top each half with a knob of butter
- Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper, then top with the fresh herbs
- Roast for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
