10 oz apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise
8 whole cloves
1 1/2 tbsp honey
4 oz Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
1 Tbsp lemon juice
3 slices of apples (for garnish)
3 pieces of lemon peels (for garnish)
Combine apple cider, cinnamon, star anise, and cloves in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium-low heat.
Remove from heat, cover lid and allow spices to steep for about 12-15 minutes.
While you wait, grab 2 or 3 glasses and add 1/2 tbsp of honey in each one.
Add rum and lemon juice to glasses and stir to combine.
Strain spices and add apple cider mixture to each glass and stir to combine. You can add more honey if you prefer it sweeter.
Serve with cinnamon sticks, apple slices, star anise and lemon peels.
