- Ingredients:
- Large firm tomatoes
- Bermuda Onion
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- Watercress or lettuce
- Sour cream dressing
- Directions:
- Peel onion, slice and soak in water and vinegar for one hour
- Skin tomatoes and cut side ways
- slice 5 or 6 vertical gashes in tomatoes
- Place in each cut 1 slice onion
- Place individual servings on watercress
- Drizzle with dressing
