• Ingredients:
  • Large firm tomatoes
  • Bermuda Onion
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Watercress or lettuce
  • Sour cream dressing
  • Directions:
  • Peel onion, slice and soak in water and vinegar for one hour
  • Skin tomatoes and cut side ways
  • slice 5 or 6 vertical gashes in tomatoes
  • Place in each cut 1 slice onion
  • Place individual servings on watercress
  • Drizzle with dressing
