Huckleberry Restaurant is located at the historic Rosedon Hotel in Pembroke, a Relais & Châteaux property. With the look and feel of a stately Bermudian manor, the setting is perfect for the restaurant, whose name is a tribute to Mark Twain, once a frequent visitor to Bermuda.
Expect a welcoming, relaxed ambiance and exceptional service wherever you choose to dine at Huckleberry, whether inside the main house, out on the veranda, or in the gardens. Inside, the two formal dining rooms are ideal for small gatherings, exuding elegance and sophistication. The open veranda offers al fresco dining with an authentic Bermudian vibe, featuring wide, comfortable chairs and a less formal setting for breakfast and lunch.
The veranda is ideal for a leisurely brunch on Saturday and Sunday, or for the decadent daily Afternoon Tea, offering an array of exquisitely arranged sandwiches, scones and cakes served on fine bone china. The sub-tropical gardens lend themselves incredibly well to a variety of dining experiences – an intimate, romantic evening for two in an enclave of exotic plants and sculptures with a personal waiter, or a magical scene of candles and fairy lights under the stars for a small wedding reception, cocktail party or group dinner.
If you’re looking to round off your day with a tall, cool drink, join us on the veranda or in the gardens for our signature cocktail, The Huckleberry, made of Bacardi 4 rum, huckleberries, lemon and fresh Bermuda honey from our own beehives. Or build your own gin and tonic from our G&T menu featuring six different gins, five flavours of tonic or soda, and an assortment of add-ins and garnishes.
Like its name, the cuisine at Huckleberry draws its inspiration from Mark Twain’s Southern roots and Bermuda’s own island flavours. Our Executive Chef will take you on a culinary journey from Sea and Farm to Table, with locally-sourced organic produce, grass-fed meat, and sustainably harvested seafood. Many of the vegetables, fruit, herbs and edible flowers are grown in Rosedon’s own gardens, producing fresh flavours and gorgeous presentations.
We also strive to use sustainably harvested and organic products for our wine list at Huckleberry. It’s a healthy living concept that has helped us to curate the most extensive selection of organic, biodynamic, natural and vegan wines found in a Bermuda restaurant. We invite the wine connoisseurs, the novices, the collectors, the drinkers and the tasters to come and explore the flavours and experience the difference in drinking a wine that comes from vineyards that respect and value their land, their fruit and their methods of production.
