St. Paul’s Church in Paget was founded in 1633, but almost entirely rebuilt after being severely damaged by a storm in 1794. A former rector of St. Paul’s was Aubrey Spencer, grandson of the second Duke of Marlborough and forebear of Sir Winston Churchill.
