Who doesn’t love eggnog at Christmastime? If you’re making your own this year, try this recipe, courtesy of Goslings Rum – it’s delicious and very, very Bermudian!

6 eggs, separated
1/2 cup sugar & 1/4 cup sugar
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 pint whole milk
6 ounces whiskey
4 ounces Goslings Black Seal Rum
2 ounces di Saronno Amaretto
Freshly grated nutmeg

Beat the egg yolks with a 1/2 cup sugar until thickened. Beat the whites with a 1/4 cup sugar until they stand in stiff peaks. Beat the cream until thickened but not whipped hard. Fold together the yolks and whites, then the cream. Add milk to thin. Add whiskey, Goslings Black Seal Rum and Amaretto. Grate in lots of fresh nutmeg. Chill thoroughly. Pour into a large, attractive serving or punch bowl and garnish each serving with more grated nutmeg.
