Salt+Cedar is a new online store concept created by Andrea Beazley Fubler. Andrea has paired her decade of experience in the retail industry with her passion for natural beauty and skincare products. Andrea, a Holistic Nutritionist, realized that she was stocking up on natural beauty products every time she travelled off the island, and so had the idea of bringing the brands she loved so much to Bermuda, so that others could begin to enjoy natural beauty and skincare lines too.
Andrea sources most of her product lines from small companies in Canada and the US that really love what they do. She chooses to buy from companies that keep the environment a top priority while producing products made with powerful natural ingredients. Now, well-being no longer needs to be compromised for effectiveness, as natural beauty products often boast more potent ingredients than their department store or drug store counterparts.
All products offered on Salt+Cedar are cruelty free, paraben free and phalate free. To be sure of this, Andrea puts hours of research into the ingredient lists of the items she stocks and into the business models of the brands she carries.
The skin is the largest organ of the human body, and how it is treated is just as important as how the internal organs are nourished. The skin is not impermeable, so toxic chemicals can be absorbed through the it. Chemicals from beauty products, such as powders and artificially fragranced products, can also be inhaled, and some chemicals from products like face washes and lipstick can even be ingested.
