Sadly, it’s safe to say that we all know someone who has had or currently has cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in recognition the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is asking us to come and support their various fundraisers taking place this month. It is impossible to stress enough how important it is to support the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre and the other local organizations who do so much for cancer patients, often at no cost. By recognizing October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month we are showing appreciation to our local cancer support organizations and paying tribute to those we know and love who battle cancer past, present and future.
In support of the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre, I’m thinking pink for the month of October. Obviously it’s hard not to notice products delicately adorned with the pink ribbon and although I fully support purchasing these products for the cause, I thought I’d share with you my favourite pink things available in Bermuda.
