Bacardi 2nd Annual Black Vendor Market

We’re excited to feature a diverse array of black-owned businesses, including Dove & Butterfly, Trimik Sports, Umami, and Om Juicery, among others. These entrepreneurs will showcase their impressive products, offering you a unique shopping experience.

The event will be brought to life with the energetic performances by African dance and drumming troupe, DonQuili, and the dynamic beats of DJ Chubb, with the charismatic Power Girl as our MC. This family-friendly gathering is the perfect opportunity to support local black-owned businesses, enjoy cultural entertainment, and spend quality time with loved ones.

Bacardi proudly presents the Mobile African Foundation Timeline (MAFT), a captivating installation that takes you on a journey through the monumental achievements and contributions of African people. This educational experience, highlighted with a special focus on Bermuda’s Black history, offers a panoramic view of African civilization’s impact on the world, detailed in 1,000-year increments.

Join us on our Community Days to view the MAFT and engage in enlightening discussions with Mwalimu Melodye Mîcere Van Putten, M.A., a veteran educator, writer, lecturer, and poet renowned for her African-centered perspective on global African history and culture.
