St. David’s is the perfect place to spend a relaxed day with the kids. Head east after breakfast to enjoy time in nature, history, and some good family food!

Morning Activity

Make sure you’re wearing good walking shoes and/or bring your bicycles to explore Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve. Here you’ll find several small beaches to stop off and enjoy, then head to the main beaches, at the end for a swim in the pristine waters and play in powdery-soft sand. Don’t miss walking the path and climbing the old NASA tracking tower for some pretty spectacular views.

Heading away from Clearwater, stop at Pizza House for a meal everyone likes – pizza. Order by the slice or by the whole pie. Then, sit outside on the patio for a casual lunch watching the planes land and take off.

Afternoon Activity

Continue your way west until you find the historic Carter House Museum, believed to be one of the oldest Bermuda vernacular farmhouses (over three centuries old). Learn about the history of St. Davids with exhibits depicting whaling, piloting, fishing, boat building, farming, sailing, and even ghosts.

Time For A Treat

As you head out of St David’s, be sure to stop at Double Dip for a frozen treat. Located at the entrance to the Kindley baseball fields, it’s the perfect place to pull over after a fun day.

Heading Home

If you’ve got any energy left after a full day of fun, stop at Blue Hole Park at the end of the causeway on your way home. Take a stroll on the picturesque trails, find the caves, or jump off the cliff if you’re feeling brave. It’s a fun way to top off a great day with the family in St. David’s.
