What is your favourite Christmas tradition?
Decorating the Mosher family tree in early December!
What is your favourite Christmas dish or indulgence?
Egg Nog! Especially in rum. Um um, I mean, in coffee!
What is your Christmas wish for Bermuda?
Bermuda is a bright, beautiful and special place, and I wish for all of our people to continue to shine as brightly as our island does!
Do you have a New Year’s Resolution?
I don’t generally do resolutions, but instead develop a mantra for the year to come which acts as a lens through which I approach everything in life and in business. Favourites include “Make Magic” from 2014, “Evolve” from 2016.
Cassava or farine?
Cassava!
Christmas lunch or dinner?
After such a busy season in our studio, a Christmas morning lie-in is the most decadent thing ever – so that makes Christmas Dinner a perfectly timed affair!
What is your favourite childhood memory of Christmas?
While very NOT funny at the time – it was the year Santa brought me a bicycle. I was so excited to try it out, and off I went down the driveway – but I didn’t know how to use the brakes! I ended up crashing down the steps and through the moongate into a pile of scrapes and tears. The whole thing is on video tape. My dad then proceeded to interview me about what had happened. I was upset for years! Without fail the story comes up every Christmas, and my dad and I get into hysterical laughter at the thought of it!
What is your favourite holiday event (Santa parade, boat parade, Bermuda National Trust Walkabout, etc.)?
The National Trust Walkabout is absolutely magical!
What signifies the start of the holiday season for you?
Pink Friday! It’s the day I reveal my Christmas ornament and we throw a big party to celebrate. It really signifies the beginning of an exciting month of festivities!
What are your Boxing Day traditions?
During our busy holiday season, Darren and I often aren’t able to decorate our tree until Boxing Day, so I always look forward to that! We often light a fire and stay in jams and slippers all day. Bliss!
