Questions:
1. What is your favourite Bermudian tradition?
Non-Mariners is one of the world’s greatest free parties. Having spent years of my life on the road, I’ve been to hundreds of festivals. It’s a really unique event!
2. What’s the most Instagram-worthy place in Bermuda?
Underwater. We live in the middle of a giant national park. It’s like we’re a city in the middle of Yosemite. Go out to sea and the nature is amazing. Everyday I’m in awe.
3. What do you like most about yourself?
That I’m always starting bands and projects and trying to light up the party.
4. What do you like least about yourself?
That this page isn’t big enough to write it all down!
5. What’s your favourite thing to do on Sunday?
The Elbow Beach Pool Sessions with my band Milk n’Money. Friends who go to Vegas and Ibiza tell us how much better our parties are.
6. What’s your favourite thing in your office?
Well, I love my DJ decks, and I love the speakers in my studio – I’m 6’4” and they are just a little taller than me!
7. What’s your favourite thing at home?
The last letter my mother wrote to me. My most valuable possession.
8. What are you reading right now?
Bruce Springsteen’s autobiography. It’s some of the best writing about music and being in a band ever. Previously, this kind of writing was done by journalists, who don’t understand the realities of the music business, let alone the internal dynamics and pressures on a band. Bruce exposes and celebrates this world.
9. What is your biggest phobia?
People requesting Despacito!
