As with 2020, some might think we should just hold our breath and say good riddance to 2021. But in a year that tested all of our endurance and resilience, this year’s honourees came to the fore and found ways to lead, thrive and indeed, shine.

During our bleakest days, their sacrifices and triumphs make them worthy recipients of our 2021 Bermudians of the Year. Please join us in celebrating these leaders who persisted and showed us what faith, hope and charity can do.

Flora Duffy: Gold Medalist

David Thompson: Feeding the Community

Minister Kim Wilson: Leader Undaunted

Sheelagh Cooper: Social Activist
