Hana Bushara’s single, “No Label,” released on August 22nd, explores themes of connection subject to ambiguity.
The track emerges as a synergy between nature and sound, drawing inspiration from a piece in Seth De Roulet’s “Bending Light” exhibition at the Bermuda National Gallery. De Roulet’s piece, as well as the memory it evoked, inspired the sense that the ocean is constantly in flux and exists beyond containment. For Hana, ‘it felt like a perfect parallel to describe the nature of that which has not been given a label, speaking to both the sweetness and strain that emerges when something is undefined’.
‘No Label’ was produced, mixed, and mastered by BermudaCal (Callum Smith) and the music video was directed and edited by Domamanic (Dominic O’Donnell). The song is available on all major streaming platforms as of August 22nd 2025.
We caught up with Hana ahead of her song release to get a beat on what she’s loving right now.
