As the cool days of fall roll into Bermuda, there’s no better way to embrace the season than with sangria.

But what about our friends who don’t drink? This delicious non-alcoholic blend combines rich black tea with fruity bursts of pomegranate, citrus, and apple, all infused with a hint of cinnamon. Topped off with sparkling water for a light fizz, it’s the perfect autumn drink— and we assure you everyone will be smitten, teetotaller or not!

Ingredients
5 cups boiling water
4 black tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose-leaf tea in an infuser; decaf tea is fine)
3 cinnamon sticks
1 cup granulated sugar
4 cups pomegranate juice
2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 medium orange, sliced into thin rounds
2 medium lemon, sliced into thin rounds
2 medium lime, sliced into thin rounds
2 medium apple, cored and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
5 cups cold sparkling water or club soda
Pomegranate seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions
Pour the boiling water over tea bags and cinnamon sticks and steep for 5 minutes.

Discard tea bags and stir in sugar to dissolve.

In a large jar or pitcher, combine tea, cinnamon sticks, pomegranate juice, orange juice, orange, lemon, lime, and apple.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and preferably overnight.

Just before serving, stir in sparkling water. Serve in glasses over ice.

Top with Pomegranate seeds for garnish.
