Every other year in June, the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club docks are filled with sailboats arriving from Newport, Rhode Island after completing the Newport Bermuda Race. In it’s 53rd year, more than 160 boats will make the 635-mile journey across the Atlantic and we at The Bermudian are celebrating by sharing some of our favourite photographs from our archives of the Newport Bermuda Race. Good luck to those racing, there will be dry land and swizzle waiting for you upon your arrival!
