The Ag Show 2019 is going to be ripe with exhibitions, food vendors, local performers and fun for the kiddies but everyone knows that the main events take place in the Main Entertainment Ring. Here are the events taking place each day that you can’t afford to miss!
Thursday, April 11th
10:30 a.m. Western Parade Horses – This riding event is fun to watch as both horse and rider are dressed in elaborate western style clothing and each horse is beautifully adorned in silver saddle.
11:00 a.m. Performance by the Canine Stars – Feature dogs catching high-flying frisbees, dancing freestyle, high-jumping and performing agility routines. Most of the dogs featured in the show are rescued or adopted from shelters.
11:40 a.m. Utility Horse – A challenging obstacle course featuring many young riders. It’s not as easy as it looks!
2:30 p.m. Performance by the Canine Stars – Feature dogs catching high-flying frisbees, dancing freestyle, high-jumping and performing agility routines. Most of the dogs featured in the show are rescued or adopted from shelters.
3:30 p.m. Jumping, Jumping, Jumping! – Featuring three classes of riders, the jumps get higher and more daring with each class. This is a very competitive event and is always exciting.
Friday, April 12th
Especially enjoyable to watch are the horse and carriage events. They offer a look back on older forms of transportation in Bermuda and spectators will enjoy the beautifully restored historic carriages and their well-dressed drivers and footmen.
10:20 a.m. Pleasure Driving
11:10 a.m. Performance by the Canine Stars – Feature dogs catching high-flying frisbees, dancing freestyle, high-jumping and performing agility routines. Most of the dogs featured in the show are rescued or adopted from shelters.
12:30 p.m. Ladies Open Carriage – Very competitive event featuring all-female drivers who put on quite a show!
1:00 p.m. Open Carriage Single Horse
1:40 p.m. Junior Equitation Lead Line for Under 8 Year Old Riders – The most adorable event featuring boys and girls on little ponies.
3:00 p.m. Performance by the Canine Stars – Feature dogs catching high-flying frisbees, dancing freestyle, high-jumping and performing agility routines. Most of the dogs featured in the show are rescued or adopted from shelters.
4:45 p.m. Jumping, Jumping, Jumping! – Featuring three classes of riders, the jumps get higher and more daring with each class. This is a very competitive event and is always exciting.
Saturday, April 13th
8:00 a.m. Western Pleasure – Cowboys and cowgirls put on a show for spectators with their easy-going horses and country music.
9:30 a.m. Children’s Pleasure Driving Pony – These little pairs of ponies and drivers will have you smiling from ear to ear.
10:30 a.m. Racing Pony Pacers – These ponies aren’t racing but they still put on quite a show!
11:00 a.m. Performance by the Canine Stars – Feature dogs catching high-flying frisbees, dancing freestyle, high-jumping and performing agility routines. Most of the dogs featured in the show are rescued or adopted from shelters.
